Culinary employment or an internship?

I posted a similar question, but that's a little different. My friend is in the process of a Culinary academy of arts degree with a degree from "La Roche" He wants to attend a five-star hotel or restaurant to his final internship and after he found himself in work, in the vicinity of Paso Robles, California graduates.
