is black opal stick foundation makeup oil free?
I am starting the hcg diet and NO MAKEUP is my downfall, it says that u can use makeup as long as it is oil free. My dermatologist recommended this line of make up for me because i do have rather oily skin and frequently break out, however i don't know where to find out if my makeup is oil free so that i can keep suing it while on my diet.
Black Opal stick foundation is hypo-allergenic, suitable for ALL skin types, and claims to go on without and "oily feel". I don't know for certain that it's oil free, but it sure sounds like it. I can't imagine that it would be suitable for all skin types when so many people require an oil-free foundation. Check the ingredients on the label.

HCG Diet Mistakes
There are some mistakes that people make that stop the HCG diet from working or from keeping the weight loss permanent.
HCG works at very high percentage of the time. When it does not I have found there are common reasons. When the weight comes back on I have found there are common reasons for that. They all get resolved once those reasons are found.
HCG not working. When someone is on the HCG diet and it is not working, here are the different things I have found.
The source of HCG is a problem. There are many sources of sublingual hcg and less of the injection hcg. Find one that has proven consistent with quality. This has resolved the inability for HCG to work.
Other times it is not so much that the HCG did not work but it was so inconsistent. There were long plateaus. In this case I had the person get a reputable source of HCG and also using HCG injections instead of sublingual. This causes less missed HCG doses and less in consistency. With the HCG injections there is one dose a day in the morning and that is it. Also the results are much much more consistent. There are much fewer plateaus or days without weight loss or measurement loss.
Not following the pounds and inches protocol. This is the other major category of reasons when HCG stops working.
Simeons had definite rules for his protocol in "Pounds and Inches." However, he wrote this book for other doctors as a guide. He did not explain why what he says to do works. He just says what to do.
Most of the other problems with the HCG diet, will come from not following the HCG protocol as outline in Pounds and Inches. This can happen knowingly or unknowingly.
An example is the use of makeup and cosmetics. He is very clear on this. But there are many people that just won't do it even if they can. They think it is a nice-to-do-thing.
It is not, there are chemical reactions the oils in most cosmetics contain that cause HCG to stop working.
There are also foods to eat and not eat. This has been generalized a lot. I would stick to the food he talks about in his book.
Another reason for HCG not working as it should that is not contained in the Pounds and Inches is dealing with the dramatic change in the "food environment" foods today are so different than the foods he was using in his day. Today you cannot escape fattening chemicals hidden in "common." Foods. Animal meats are processed very differently now. They contain hormones and fat storing chemicals.
This is one of the problems with weight loss today. The food of today is not the same foods as before. So eating non-organic, non-free-range foods will cause you to ingest foods that have fat storing chemicals and hormones.
It is the exact thing the HCG is trying to reverse.
